Christmas Morning
This Christmas was a lot of fun. Jordy and Jacob wanted BYU football uniforms, Josh wanted a star wars tent, and Cameron got a giant Mickey for our Toone Town playroom. When I asked Jax what he wanted or needed this year he said, "well, I don't really need anything, but what I would really want is if you could give me something that I could give to the poor and needy." It was so great because that is what we did. I gave him a bunch of cans to donate to the food bank. We also had 2 sub for santa families that we helped have a great Christmas. I also gave extra money in his name to our ward service project. He was surprised when I still gave him a few gifts. I am so glad that he understands that we do have a lot in our life and it is important to give to others this season. He is a great kid. We had a wonderful Christmas.
Christmas Eve Party!
Every Christmas Eve we have a party with the Martineau family. The kids and I really look forward to this. We had a special visitor this year...Santa. He usually doesn't make it but his sled broke down at the top of our street and he was able to stop in while the elves fixed it for him. Jordy didn't sit on his lap long enough for me to get a good picture but he had several questions for him. Cameron was not to happy to see him. We opened presents from our cousins and had a great dinner. We finished up by having the kids act out the nativity scene with Grandpa narrating it.
