Josh is a song writer...

Josh's class did a project yesterday about songs. He decided he wanted to write his own song (this is not the first song he wrote) and sing it for the class. These are the words to the song:

Why did you leave me down on the ground. When will you come back down? I'll wait until the end of time just to see your face again. Ye-ah I miss you. I want to see your wonderful face. I want to hear your wonderful voice. I want to know your still alive. I miss y-o-u. I want to know your mine. I know your up in heaven it just helps me to think like that. I'll be able to see you again but for now ooh I miss you. -Joshua

He was 3 when his dad died. He is 9 now. It is amazing how fast the time goes by. I found some old home videos the other day that we recorded while the kids were playing a few months after Jake had died. In the video Josh was 4 and he sang song after song that he was making up about his dad dying. I am so glad I have that and I plan to get him on tape singing this song. He is such a sweet spirit. I am so thankful that I was blessed to have him. All my boys are just angels put on this earth to help me love and enjoy life. I love them all so much. I feel so blessed.
*his teacher gave him an extra point for the song:)
