My Talented Young Writer!

Josh was chosen by the principal at the school to win the Talented Young Writer Award for 3rd grade from our school. He was so excited. When his teacher called me to inform us she explained that he needed to come to the school to make a picture for it. When I told Josh he was picked for something and we needed to go down to the school he got so excited and said, "Mom, did she say anything about the word SUBMITTED?". I told him yes and he just freaked out. His paper went into a book with all the other entries. They had an award ceremony and then all the kids read their papers. I was so proud of him. He also had a paper on the Principal's bulletin board this year. He is a very good writer and plans to write a book over the summer.
