Happy Birthday Jacob!! Sept. 16

Jacob turned 5 this year. He is so excited to be growing up. He is a great kid. He loves to do all kinds of work. He loves to cook, clean, garden, fix things, build things and watch anyone working on anything. He is a great help and a special spirit. Jacob is one of the best people anyone can spend time with. He is happy and smiling all the time. He loves learning new things and catches on to things very quickly. He learned to tie his shoes when he was 4 by watching me teach Jordy. One day he asked me to tie them when I was doing the dishes so I told him I would when I was finished. He sat down and said that he would do it. Suddenly he started shouting, "I did it! Look mom I did it" sure enough he had tied his shoes all by himself. Jacob loves BYU football and wanted mom to make a BYU football field with a football on it for his cake. He helped with the cake and all the dishes.
Jacob was a special gift from my Heavenly Father and Jake. I am thankful everyday that I was blessed with him in my life. He has made my life happy and full. He has been an angel since I found out I was pregnant with him and my life wouldn't be complete with out him. I love you Jacob!

I am always amazed at the elaborate cakes that you make...I am a slacker mom and my twins cakes have all come from Sam's Club...maybe one day I'll work on my cake baking skills and create a piece of work like you do. How can you even bare to let them cut into a cake that you spend so much time making? You amaze me!
