Dakkon and Jax turned 12 this year. They are 2 days apart. They both received the Aaronic priesthood on the same day. It was even more special because it was also Mikey's farewell that day. Jax had Mikey ordain him, and Dakkon had Curtis ordain him. It was a busy day but we were able to fit everything in. It was a really great day. Dakkon and Jax are best friends. They call each other their almost twin brother. They share a room and really enjoy playing together. They are both very helpful with the younger boys, and they are great examples.
Jax has made my life so happy. He is a huge blessing to me. I am so proud of the young man he has become. He can run the household if needed. He is a great babysitter and helps out around the house more than any other kid I know. He is getting straight A's in 7th grade. He is a joy to have in our family. All the boys look up to him. He is told by everyone he knows that they love how he is always smiling. He never complains and is as close to a perfect person that exist on this planet. I love him dearly and thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with such an amazing person to raise. I know Jake is proud of him and loves him so much. Curtis and I are awed by him everyday and love him.
