Father's Day Fun!!!

The Whole Family

Happy Father's Day! This Father's Day we had all the boys with us.
We had a fun day filled with playing. We had a BBQ with the boys and
talked about our fathers and grandfathers. We also spent time
talking about Daddy Jake, what we miss about him and what
made him such a good Dad. The boys also told Curtis what they love
about him.

Just the boys

After the BBQ we went to Grandpa Gary's house. We spent some time with the family. Jax and Josh about a month ago broke one of my dad's walking sticks. They both wanted to play with it so Jax broke it in half and they were using the two pieces like swords. When my dad noticed what had happened he explained to the boys that he had been saving the stick for 8 years for them because Jake had found it on the ranch and started it for him. Jaxon totally lost it. He rarely shows emotion in front of people but he cried all night long. He was devastated that he had ruined something that Jake made. We decided to ask my brother-in-law Clint to help us fix it. We glued the two pieces together and then bound it with leather. Then put the Jorgensen brand and their names in the leather. When they gave it to my Dad they said..."now you have a walking stick that our dad worked on and that we worked on". My Dad got emotional...so did I. It really helped to heal Jax and Josh's hearts as well. I am sure that we will have more things from Jake that get old and broken down. It is something that we will deal with every time it happens. Jake was an amazing father and a wonderful husband. We all miss him so much. What a blessing it was to have him the time that we did. I will be forever grateful for that. Clint was the one that helped pull off this small miracle for us. I want to thank Clint again for the help that he offers us on a daily basis. He really makes a difference in my life and my boys life. Thanks Clint!!

Daddy Curtis and the boys!

Later we drove up the canyon and let the boys throw rock into the stream. They had a great time. Curtis is always the happiest when we have all the boys together. He is not the best when it comes to receiving gifts so this year I asked him what he wanted. All he wanted was to spend time with me and the boys. I did get him a card too...but we lost it along the way. He didn't stop thanking me all day for what a wonderful day he had. I think its great that he is so easily pleased. It made it great for me;) Curtis is a great Dad to all the boys. He offers so many things that no one else can. I am thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed us so much in our life. I am really looking forward to having a baby together. The boys are all very excited. As the last 2 years have gone by I have watched Curtis learn and grow and try everyday to become a better person a better husband and a better father. He amazes me at how much he strives to improve himself everyday. He is a great husband and father. I love Curtis so much. Thanks for all you do for us. You make our life great!

Our version of a "dog pile on Dad"

This is pretty much how it looks around our house all the time. I'm usually out shopping or going to the spa when my brain is ready to explode! I do love our life though!
