Primary Childrens Hospital 2008

Our trips to Primary Children's Hospital this year! In March Jacob broke his arm about 5 min. before the Easter egg hunt at my mom's house. He was riding a bike that was a little to big for him and it fell over. The doctors pressed me thinking that it was child abuse. They said he looked to little to be able to ride a bike. My response..."He has 7 older brothers to keep up with and nothing will stop this little one!" Even the broken arm couldn't keep him down. He figured out how to ride his bike and do anything else he wanted to do. Jordy went into the hospital this week for minor surgery. He was born with a herniated bellybutton. They wait until the kids are over 5 to fix them because they usually grow together on their own. Jordy's never did so he went in on Tues. and had it fixed. The worst part of it was the fact that I made him rest for a whole day. His has a very high tolerance for pain and is the most active person I've ever seen. He even played in his baseball game the next day. I catch him showing a little pain on his face occasionally while playing on the playground but still cant get him to stop. My only hope is he doesn't pop all his stitches! They were both great patients!
